No Illegal Drugs Found in Brittany Murphy`s System
On Thursday, the Los Angeles County Coroner`s Office released the full autopsy report for Brittany Murphy, who died Dec. 20 at age 32 from multiple drug intoxication, pneumonia and "iron deficiency anemia."
The report contains the medications present in her blood, which include elevated levels of hydrocodone and acetaminophen, which are both components of Vicodin.
Also in the actress` system: chlorpheniramine, the active ingredient in some over-the-counter medications, as well as L-methamphetamine, a component of some inhalers.
No illegal drugs were detected in her body.
"It should be noted that the pattern of use of these medications suggest treatment of symptoms of a cold or other respiratory infection," the report reads.
Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Coroner revealed that Murphy`s pneumonia was "exacerbated" by her multiple drug intoxication.
Her death was ruled an accident.
